The script may have been finished back in March, but we’ve heard very little since then about the long anticipated addition to the Indiana Jones storyline … until now. Karen Allen, who played Indiana’s love interest in Raiders of the Lost Ark, let it slip on Friday that she just heard Natalie Portman was cast as Indy’s daughter.
Of course, Karen said very little about her own part in the film and quickly changed the subject after mentioning Natalie’s casting. So it remains to be seen how this all plays out…
Could that time have finally arrived? Could Natalie Portman be shedding her clothing in the name of her art? Perhaps. AICN is reporting that there is an interrogation scene in Natalie Portman’s upcoming movie, Goya’s Ghost, where she appears naked — well, at least the unfinished special effect of Natalie is. Of course, it takes place during a major torture scene, so don’t think it’s all roses and soft lighting. Also, don’t forget that she was to originally appear naked in her film Closer, but later decided against it which lead to director Mike Nichols agreeing to burn the scenes.
I honestly don’t know what Natalie Portman’s obsession is with the “I can kick your ass six ways from Sunday” look, but I’m convinced she will kick anyone’s ass who asks.

A man in Texas woke up inspired obsessed one morning and decided that he was going to visit every single corporate-owned Starbucks on the face of the planet. This journey started in 1997, and 8 years later he has visited an astonishing 4,988 Starbucks (4,775 in North America, and 213 in other parts of the world). According to the Seattle based company’s website, there are a total of 5,715 corporate-owned Starbucks in the world, leaving him with a mere 727 stores to go. But seeing as how Starbucks multiply faster than rabbits on viagra, he might be going ad infinitum.
He has, however, garnered the attention of an amateur film-maker who is currently making a documentary and is hoping to release the film, dubbed “Starbucking,” at Sundance.
If Sundance doesn’t accept the film, Tangeman said, he will submit it to other festivals.
“There’s a million film festivals, so hopefully we’ll find someone who will take it,” he said.
Winter, who earns money to keep his quest going by doing computer programming work, and currently lives in the Washington, D.C., suburb of Silver Spring, Md., said he and Tangeman will split whatever profits the movie may make.
Winter hopes the movie does well. One basic reason for his hopes is that it could give him more money to continue his quest.
And some of the perks of fame that might come if the film is successful, like maybe meeting Natalie Portman or Scarlett Johansson, wouldn’t be too bad either, Winter said.
“On a superficial level,” Winter said, “celebrity has its benefits.”
So now the real truth comes out…

Amidala?
Natalie Portman is shaved
Natalie Portman has shaved her head for her role in the upcoming V for Vendetta. “Some people will think I’m a neo-Nazi,” Portman said. “Or that I have cancer or I’m a lesbian…I can’t stop rubbing my head, it’s so soft. I might keep it for a while.”
