Michelle Rodriguez goes back to jail

Michelle Rodriguez

The bad girl of Lost, Michelle Rodriguez, has a 60-day jail term to look forward to this summer. The actress, who was arrested in December for a DUI and served 4 days in jail earlier this year, pleaded guilty to violating the terms of her probation in Los Angeles Superior Court yesterday. But we shouldn’t feel too bad for her, after all her last experience in jail was absolutely fab — or in her words, so cool.

Michelle Rodriguez chooses jail

After pleading guilty to driving while intoxicated last year, Michelle Rodriguez was sentenced to either 4 days in jail (originally the sentence was for 5 but she was given 1 day credit for time served), or 240 hours of community service. Michelle chose to go to jail.

In court, Rodriguez apologized for her behavior but also blamed it on steroid injections she had been taking twice a month to treat allergies to “dust and cockroach resin” which began when she arrived in Hawaii last year. She said the effects of the steroids made her “manic,” kept her up late at night and caused her to have “menstrual cycles three times” a month.

“I wasn’t right in my head,” she said in court. “None of that verbal behavior was directed towards them. It was directed towards myself.”

About her arrest, she said, “I personally am thankful that I was stopped because of the fact that I didn’t acknowledge my own behavior and how sporadic it was until all hell broke loose in my life.”

Go directly to jail, do not pass Go, do not collect $200.

Evangeline Lilly loses her panties

Producers of hit TV series ‘Lost’ have drafted in special bodyguards after sexy actress Evangeline Lilly had her panties stolen. The underwear heist is thought to be the latest harassment by the show’s fans desperate to get close to their onscreen idols.

26-year-old Lilly said she was amazed when a close friend saw a teenage boy snatch the underwear from a washing line.

The beautiful brunette is quoted by the Contact Music website as saying: “A friend was in the shower when there was a knock at the door.

“When she answered it, she saw a boy stealing my knickers off the washing line.

“Show bosses have now taken the decision to hire extra security.

A set insider explained: “Apart from Evangeline’s underwear, Josh has had some items stolen from his home and Matthew and his family have been hounded by fanatical fans.

Michelle Rodriguez gets lost

Michelle Rodriguez, of Blue Crush fame, is returning to Hawaii as a permanent member of the TV show Lost.

Rodriguez plays Ana-Lucia, who was introduced to viewers at the end of the first season. She returns this year as permanent member of the cast and will be featured in episodes three and four of the new season.

“I told these guys, the producers, that I want to be part of this world, this show in Hawaii, because Hollywood wasn’t my thing at the moment,” she said. “I was tired of the monotony of it all.”

Yeah, Hollywood can get pretty monotonous, what with all the partying, beautiful people, fast cars … BORING!

Lost and naked

Filming for the hit TV series Lost was cut short last weekend when a couple of naked fans swam onto the beach.

Domonic Monaghan and Mathey Fox were shooting a scene together in Hawaii when the two buxom babes started bobbing about by the shore.

And when ‘cut’ was called the two superfans came out of the waves and started walking up the beach.

The two opportunists were allowed to watch the rest of the filming as long as they kept their bits covered. They left with cast autographs and promised never to return to the remote location or disclose how they got there.

Lost at a party

Cast members and producers of Lost, along with 250 guests, gathered on Hawaii’s North Shore to celebrate the release of the television series’ first-season DVD, due out on September 6th.

Guests walked 400 feet along a dirt trail leading into the forest and lined with dozens of tiki torches to the red carpet where media waited for “Lost” cast members. The party’s theme borrowed heavily from the show’s plot line — complete with monstrous sounds emanating from the forest.

Dan Kough recreated a fantasyland of various dark and frightening “Lost” episodes. The eerie banyan forest has been used by the “Lost” production several times as the survivors retreat from unseen, marauding monsters.

A replica of another major set piece — the plane’s fuselage — was also part of the party. The fuselage, which took four weeks to construct, was the backdrop for the stage where local cover band Slug played.
