Jason Wahler sets the record straight on his blog in defense of fellow Laguna Beacher, Kristin Cavallari. Sorry guys, Kristin doesn’t have a MySpace page, which puts the origin of those (semi) topless photos of Kristin in question.
Jason also aired out the dirty laundry and spoke out about his recent split with Lauren Conrad. Well, it would appear as though Jason chickened out and pulled his excruciatingly long entry from his blog. All that’s left are the basic facts. Boring!

Hot on the heels of the news that Kristin Cavallari dumped Brody Jenner, our favorite reality TV star Lauren Conrad has confirmed that she and fellow Laguna Beacher Jason Wahler have also split … finally! Lauren tells Us Weekly, Yes it is true, Jason and I are no longer together, but out of respect for his privacy I am not going to discuss the details of the breakup. It sounds like season 2 of The Hills could get a lot more interesting — single and partying. We can only hope.
For those who haven’t watched the season finale yet … when we last left Lauren Conrad she was torn between choosing to spend the summer with Jason in Malibu, or with Teen Vogue in Paris. Regardless of her choice, rest assured that she will be returning for a second season — at least that’s what MTV wants us to believe.
In a recent press release MTV announced that following a wildly successful first season, The Hills will return along with Lauren’s three new friends, Heidi, Audrina and Whitney as MTV’s cameras continue to capture the drama, relationships, hardships and work struggles that is the girls lives in Los Angeles. Of course, they seem to have chosen their words very wisely, making no specific mention of Lauren. Will she, or won’t she?

Yes, I admit it, I watch the damn show. But at least I’m not alone — drawing an impressive 2.9 million viewers during its debut episode, The Hills has sprinted out of MTV’s starting blocks. The show follows Lauren Conrad, who now prefers “Lauren” to “LC”, as she struggles to adjust from her charmed life in Laguna to her only-somewhat-charmed life in LA — she did, after all, land a coveted internship at Teen Vogue, but we quickly see that it’s not all glamorous. The question remains, is it real? Lauren maintains that like Laguna Beach the show isn’t scripted — Scripts are corny and predictable. Real life is always better.
Did MTV see this one coming? It would appear as though Lauren LC Conrad may have jumped the gun bringing Jason out with her in public. MTV has been promoting the failed relationship between the two from their days on Laguna Beach with the hopes to lure viewers to LC’s new reality series, The Hills. Cats out the bag folks, they get together in the end. Then again, I suppose the question still remains — how did they get together. After all we all knew the Titanic would sink, yet we all watched the movie anyways.
