Trap Jaw Ant

Actually, the fastest draw on the planet. Billy the Kid couldn’t hold a pistol to this little guy. With the same high-speed photography equipment used to capture bullets and other fast moving objects, an American research team has been able to accurately capture the lightning fast jaw reflex of the Trap-jaw ant. With its jaw capable of moving at more than 66 MPH, this ant holds the fastest recorded speed at which an animal can move its body parts.
