Almost a year ago Hanes announced that Jennifer Love Hewitt, star of Ghost Whisper, would be the new face ass of the Hanes Perfect Panty. The actress, who followed the likes of Michael Jordan and Marisa Tomei, was (supposedly) featured in various print ads across the States. To mark the one-year anniversary, Hanes and Hewitt threw a Panty-Party this weekend.

…Hanes, the No. 1 apparel brand in the United States, and Jennifer Love Hewitt, star of CBS’ hit show “Ghost Whisperer,” are hosting a “Panti-monium” Party in a legendary celebrity hangout on the Sunset Strip. The event celebrates the one-year anniversary of the Hanes Perfect Panty and introduces new Hanes ComfortSoft for Women. Hewitt, also a Hanes spokesperson, will declare 2006 as the year of “Panti-monium” for women everywhere thanks to the comfort and style offered by Hanes.

I can’t possibly imagine who attended the party, or what exactly took place for that matter, but hey, anything for a buck, right? Personally, I think Stacy Keibler would have been a much better choice.
