Another day, another divorce story aboutMagazine reports prompted reps for Simpson and Lachey to issue statements Wednesday denying the couple have separated — although semantically speaking, the statements leave room for future breakups.

“Nick and Jessica have not separated,” said a joint statement on behalf of the couple. “Rumors to the contrary are simply not true.”

“They have not separated,” Simpson rep Brad Cafarelli said in an e-mail to The Associated Press.

But will they remain together? Stay tuned. Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey.
