It’s been nearly a year since Tara Reid flashed the public with her brand new boobs, and it’s still being talked about.
The American Pie star promises she’s finally got her “hooters under control” and says she can’t believe the storm it caused - as if her boob “popped out and shot Gandhi”.
Tara was left blithely exposed as the cameras flashed at Sean Coombs’ bash, exposing a pretty major nipple scar.
And she just can’t believe how much exposure her exposure got.
It’s not so much that her boob popped out, but more so that it look like a science experiment gone wrong. While Tara is now reporting that her boobs are under control,
My hooters are under control. I’m taped up now, totally. I’m using double tape. Double double tape. My boobs are going nowhere again.”
It may not be the last we’ve seen of them. Rumor has it that Playboy has offered her millions to bare her breasts.

A company based in Singapore is offering a new service — voice to SMS.
The WSJ reports on a Singapore technology company, Bubble Motion, which has teamed up with Swedish telecommunications giant Telefon AB L.M. Ericsson, to market a messaging service that eliminates the need to tap out a text message and replaces it with voice.
It is a potentially hot product for wireless-service providers in developing countries and could make inroads in places where people haven’t quite gotten the hang of tapping out text messages with their thumbs on a cellphone keypad.
…
Users of the “voice SMS” service aren’t trying to talk directly to the people they call. Instead they just want to send a message in the form of voice instead of text. The recipient’s phone doesn’t even ring for a voice SMS; the recipient is alerted with a beep and can retrieve the voice message by pressing the star key.
Does anyone else find this to be a bit odd?

Controversial plans to build a €4.5 billion ($5.4 billion) underwater dam to protect Venice from flood waters has been approved by the Italian Prime Minister.
Environmentalists have criticised the project, and the mayor of Venice protested against the decision saying the city council had been bypassed.
The plans envisage building 78 hinged flood barriers on the seabed which would be raised when high tides threaten the city.
But some environmentalists say the 28m (92ft) high, 20m (65ft) wide structures will turn Venice into a pond and will cause more damage than the floods which periodically submerge its streets.
I guess the Prime Minister never received all those informational pamphlets that propoganda which clearly stated “Venice is not sinking.”

While we sit around and wait for Jessica Alba to get naked, we can occupy our time thumbing through an upcoming issue of Vanity Fair which promises to feature Lindsay Lohan naked on the cover — well, that should really read “naked”.
Lindsay Lohan is set to bare all for an upcoming Vanity Fair cover.
The 19-year-old Mean Girls star, who has been the subject of weightloss shock stories in the US media for the past year, is keen to show off her healthy figure - and she has chosen to get naked for the style magazine.
According to America’s In Touch magazine, Lohan shot the top secret cover photo on a beach in Malibu, California last week (21SEP05) - and it was actually her idea to pose naked.
A source says, “It was Paris Hilton’s recent Vanity Fair cover, where she’s topless and covering her breasts with her arms, that inspired Lindsay to push the envelope even further.”
In some of the Vanity Fair photos, Lindsay mimics her idol, Marilyn Monroe.
It’s good to know that Paris Hilton has had such a positive impact on Lindsay. But wait, what’s that … she was caught kissing Ashlee Simpson? Alright, the pics are a bit old (from the VMAs a few weeks ago), but there hasn’t been a good excuse to include them — although some might argue the simple fact that Lindsay is kissing Ashlee is reason enough.

According to The Sun, Jessica Alba says that she will get naked, but only if the role is right.
The sexy star, who will next be seen in Into The Blue, told America’s OK magazine: “I’m going to have to face that when a big director who I really respect has an amazing story – it might be necessary for me to do a nude scene.
Not that Jessica was too far from being naked before, but alright, we’ll wait until a “respected director” comes along and convinces her to go all the way.
Of course she’s probably just teasing everybody. The statement was plucked from that new OK! magazine. So what could sell more magazines generate more buzz than a story about Britney selling her baby pictures? Why Jessica admitting she’d get naked. And what’s hotter than that? Jessica saying she likes girls.
Jessica, who is currently dating Cash Warren, added that she prefers European women to American girls, due to their liberated approach towards looks and sex.
…
“I think that European women have a much healthier attitude about bodies and sex, and I have more of that mentality.”
Jessica to get naked and have lots of sex. What a great movie…

A Mick Jagger look-a-like showed up at a New York nightclub and was showered with VIP treatment, alcohol and babes.
The freeloading phony turned up at Spirit in the wee hours of Saturday morning with a lovely young lass at his side, and was quickly ushered into the VIP room by the doorman.
The faux Mick enjoyed a complimentary bottle of Grey Goose vodka, and beckoned over a bevy of beauties with the help of a bodyguard provided by the club.
…
“After about an hour and a half of partying with what became a large crowd, the fake Mick told the security guard that he was becoming overwhelmed by the crowd and the cameras . . . and needed to leave,” Spirit spokeswoman Claire O’Connor said.
“The security guard called for additional backup, and the clone was whisked, with three girls, down a back staircase. He asked to stop at the ladies’ room on the way out, and spent 10 minutes in the ladies’ room with the three girls.”
Ten minutes? If you’re locked away in a room with 3 gorgeous girls (who think you’re Mick Jagger) you think you’d spend more than 10 minutes alone with them. Oh well, he did get free alcohol … but 10 minutes?!?!

A live “juvenile” giant squid measuring an astonishing 26-feet (8m) has been caught on film for the first time by a remote control camera 670 miles (1,100km) south of Tokyo and 2,950-feet (900m) below sea level. Full grown giant squid can reach sizes of 42-feet (13m) in length.
The giant squid can be found in books and in myths, but for the first time, a team of Japanese scientists has captured on film one of the most mysterious creatures of the deep sea in its natural habitat.
The team led by Tsunemi Kubodera, from the National Science Museum in Tokyo, tracked the 26-foot long Architeuthis as it attacked prey nearly 3,000 feet deep off the coast of Japan’s Bonin islands.
“We believe this is the first time a grown giant squid has been captured on camera in its natural habitat,” said Kyoichi Mori, a marine researcher who co-authored a piece in Wednesday’s issue of the Proceedings of the Royal Society B: Biological Sciences.

Palm, formerly PalmOne, formerly Palm, seems to be having an identity crisis. The latest evidence, the Treo 700w. Palm has unvieled its latest in the Treo line, the Treo 700w, running (drum roll please) Window Mobile 5.0.
The question on everybody’s mind, however, has less to do with the particulars of this new device than with the future of Palm in general. Over the past few years, Palm has dug a chasm between its hardware and software businesses even as Windows Mobile has usurped Palm’s once-utterly-dominant position in the marketplace. Releasing Windows-powered Palm devices only begs the question: Is Palm OS doomed?
I was never a hardcore fan of the Palm line of phones, primarily due to that stupid nub of an antenna sticking out the top (internal, go internal!) and the fact it weighs more than a brick. Adding Windows Mobile to the mix is just another reason I’ll probably never go Palm again.

The Bond mystery is no mystery, just clever marketing. At least that’s what Pierce Brosnan suspects.
Brosnan was dropped from the role after the last movie Die Another Day - but this weekend (24-26Sep05) revealed he is still in the race to wear the superspy’s trademark tuxedo when filming begins on the 21st Bond film Casino Royale in January (06).
…
He says, “Maybe it is all a big, clever ploy, just to bang the drum. We’ve seen it over the years with Sean (Connery) and Roger (Moore).
And we’ve seen it as recently as Spiderman 3 … but we all know how well that worked out.
