The producers of the hit TV show Big Brother are planning to have a contestant give birth on the show.

Dutch authorities are investigating plans for a contestant to give birth on the reality TV show Big Brother.

Newly-launched TV station Talpa will broadcast the series from Sunday. The pregnant contestant is due to give birth in six weeks.

A social affairs and labour ministry spokeswoman said inspectors were examining a request for the newborn baby to appear on the show.

That’s about as good of an idea as Britney Spears wanting to give birth on her reality show. I’m still waiting for the Truman Show to go live. Judging by the obsession with reality television, and the networks’ inability to come up with any fresh new ideas, it should be any day now.
