Pirro comes out swinging

Jeanine Pirro has kicked off her senate campaign with a bang, attacking current incumbent Hillary Clinton while challenging her not to “stoop to negative character assassination.”
But as a new candidate for statewide office, Ms. Pirro drew scrutiny for some gaffes and judgment calls as well. She paused awkwardly for 32 seconds while reading her kickoff speech, a moment shown live on NY1 News, as she searched for a page of text, finally asking an aide, “Could I have Page 10?” And the campaign’s decision to keep her husband, Albert, away from the announcements only seemed to invite questions.
Seems like a shakey start at best, but then again, we all have our bad days, look at Bush…
