Gizmodo just announced their It Plays Doom certification — an icon manufactures can use to assure customers that their product will run Doom.

That’s geeky and all, but what they should have done was make an “It runs Linux” certification; because we all know that a gadget isn’t a gadget unless you can boot Linux!
